A B O U T M E
I am Alero Ogbe an innovative and aspiring designer from
west Africa who is known for my unique approach to
design. I use African prints to balance the African culture
with modern designs, resulting in a blend of tradition and
contemporary styles. Born in Nigeria in 1987, I've always had
passion for fashion designing and dedication to preserve
my cultural heritage.
My designs are inspired by the vibrant and colorful culture
of Africa, and I incorporate traditional African prints and
patterns to create pieces that are both eye catching and
wearable. I love the Ankara fabric which is a popular
African fabric that is made from high quality cotton. I also
love the use of Adire and Aso Oke and linen and also
modern materials like silk, chiffon, organza etc
My pieces are both Timeless, Sustainable, Elegant and
comfortable.

Sometimes in order to keep moving you need to
RESET, REFOCUS, READJUST, RESTART AND NEVER
GIVE UP. Just after the pandemic life still wasn't
picking up then I knew it was time to reset and the
best place to do that was by the ocean and
watching the sun set and just taking time to
breath the salty air. Every time I have opportunity
to spend time in the ocean it is like pressing the
RESET button. #myhappyplace

We know it is rude to stare so
people don't take their time to
see what details we have on
our dresses but the moment
we walk by, their eyes follows
us and rest on our back so at
this point we give them
something to see and talk
about. And of course we know
when we are gossiped about it
is always behind us. So these
pieces speaks to those that
are not bold enough to speak
to us to our faces.

lLIFE is the part of existence that engages in
processes, acts, reactions, evaluations and
evolves through growth. And in my journey of
being in the fashion industry I have been
fortunate to experiences growth and I bring
that vibe with me in every aspect of my life. This
collection "LIFE" is to emphasize my growth
process and the dominate color GREEN which is
the color of life and known to be associated to
nature, health, growth and prosperity. And the
edgy styles showcasing the energy one gets
when one is rejuvenated.
And the choice of using the Batik fabric is to
show the Richness and Elegance and Love in
each piece because each batik is handmade
and specific and as such having its own identity
and its own story.
